With people set to go on their Summer holidays, many are unaware that foreign countries can have lower alcohol driving or motorbike riding limits than in the UK, particularly in Europe. This increases the risk of unintentionally driving or riding the ‘morning after’ a few glasses of wine or beer the night before. On a road trip, this becomes particularly important.
The AlcoSense Excel self-test breathalyser uses a smaller version of exactly the same sensor used in several UK Police-approved breathalysers, bringing you a new level of accurancy and reliability for less than £100. It can also work with any limit in the world. Simply input the local country limit, shown in the manual, and its ready to use. It has a full colour screen that gives clear readings of your alcohol level and if you’re close to, or over the limit, the Excel will alert you not to drive or ride.
Finally, a quick point about driving through France. To comply with French law, you will need to keep a twin pack of the AlcoSense NF Certified Single User breathalyser in the car with you. This only works with the French limit and France is the only country that requires this. The Excel will work with the French limit but to comply with French law, you need the NF single use breathalyser too.
Entrants must be over 18 years old as this product is linked to alcohol consumption.
